Remix Update

Hey everyone. Just thought i’d tell you all what’s up with the remixes so far.

Shinra has been put on hold- I’ve run out of inspiration for it, so hopefully it will come back soon.
Fighting remix has been through it’s first panel review, and mostly positive but I’m stuck on whether too add it to another remix or to have a second part to it, So it’s..on hold too.
The Chocobo remix so far is kind of failing, but It’s not being forgotten and it is on my list of priorities to finish.
The Kairi remix on the other hand is on a more positive note. The first part of it is done, and today I thought of mixing it with Xion’s theme and Namine’s. Namine’s theme acts as the interlude beetween Kairi and Xion’s pieces, and it runs of Kairi’s theme very well, so it makes it easier for me. I need to make sure Namine’s theme sounds like Kairis in terms of instruments, so I’m working on a Saxastrumpet (my homemade synth instrument that is a Saxaphone with Trumpet traits..) tune for Namine. Xion’s theme I’m hoping will be relatively easy…if all goes well I might even make Xion’s theme run into her boss theme, but that’ll be a pain to remix. So in terms, This remix is possibly my best.

I might collabarate with a few other artists on OC Remix to help me get my Fighting remix done, and possibly the chocobo one.

Oh and, I did a little mock-up One Winged Angel Piano remix before..It’s not half bad actually. but I dont think I will release it, it might end me.

Final Fantasy XIII

First post brings four Final Fantasy XIII 4-koma manga. “koma” means panel, so 4-koma manga means 4-panel manga. Too easy.

Enjoy!

WordPress does not seem to have a thumbnail option which allows me to avoid giving spoilers. Kind of stupid, but I’m just linking the manga to their respective attachment pages.

Number 1-3 contains spoilers up to chapter 2, number 4 has up to chapter 5 (I think, can’t remember very clearly until I replay the game).

4-koma 1, 4-koma 2, 4-koma 3, 4-koma 4

The same manga also available in Japanese below:

日本語版の4コマ

1(第2章までの話が含む)

2(第2章までの話が含む)

3(第2章までの話が含む)

4(第5章までの話が含む)

Please leave a comment if you liked any of them ^_^

Please don’t repost these anywhere without permission!

Fill in the Blank

Below are the lyrics to “We Shall Overcome.” There is a different word missing from the paragraphs. Each paragraph has one word used throughout it.

We shall _____, we shall _____,
We shall overcome someday;
Oh, deep in my heart, I do believe,
We shall _____ someday.

The Lord will see us through, The Lord will see us through,
The Lord will see us through someday;
Oh, deep in my heart, I do believe,
We shall overcome someday.

We’re on to _____, We’re on to _____,
We’re on to _____ someday;
Oh, deep in my heart, I do believe,
We’re on to _____ someday.

We’ll walk hand in hand, we’ll walk hand in hand,
We’ll walk hand in hand someday;
Oh, deep in my heart, I do believe,
We’ll walk hand in hand someday.

We are not _____, we are not _____,
We are not _____ today;
Oh, deep in my heart, I do believe,
We are not _____ today.

The truth shall make us free, the truth shall make us free,
The truth shall make us free someday;
Oh, deep in my heart, I do believe,
The truth shall make us free someday.

We shall live in _____, we shall live in _____,
We shall live in _____ someday;
Oh, deep in my heart, I do believe,
We shall live in _____ someday.

Hurricanes goalie scores for Hurricanes in 4-1 Victory over Waterloo

from http://www.guelphhurricanes.com

PEGRUM LEADS CANES to 4-1 WIN

When GM Matt Mullin insisted that goalie Drew Pegrum be included in the huge deal that sent quality players Dan Mohle and Ken Rolfe to Listowel. He knew he was getting a quality goalie for the future. He didn’t know he was also getting a potential goal scorer.

Pegrum is 10th goalie in Junior hockey history to score a goal

Sunday afternoon in Waterloo with the Siskins goalie on the bench for an extra attacker Pegrum gathered in the puck and shot it the length of the ice into the open net securing a 4-1 victory over the leagues 2nd place team.

The game started out on a sour note when a routine shoot in by a Siskin defender deflected off a Hurricane’s skate and found the corner of the net behind Pegrum. If it rattled him you’d never know because he responded by stopping the next 42 shots the Siskins fired at him.

Waterloo known for their tough disciplined play had 16 shots on Pegrum in the first 8 minutes of the game. He was up to the task. Using a lightning fast glove and cat like moves he made save after save some of the incredible variety keeping the Canes in the game.

Guelph had their oportunities as well and finally beat goalie Will Sibley on a Cayle Creen pointshot that Jake Weidner(5th) deflected into the net.

Weidner(6th)scored again in the second period with assists from Martin Kudla and Conner Ste Marie.

Guelph was awarded a penalty shot in the 3rd. Taylor Lukasik(4th) beat Sibley with a nice move to give Guelph a 3-1 lead.

The Canes used a new found energy and shut down the high flying Siskins with a stingy defense and great forechecking. Then came Pegrum’s heroics to put the final score at 4-1.

This was a total team effort and the Canes were full marks for this victory. This was also a strong moral victory as the Siskins could be the Canes first round opponent. With every player involved in the play for the entire game the Canes have put 3 solid games together as they get ready for the upcoming play-offs. What a great time to be playing your best hockey.

The Canes get a schedule break for the next 3 weeks as they play 3 games all at home.

All Saturdays at the Victoria Road Arena. Next Saturday the hot Stratford Cullitons visit Victoria Road. Game time is 7:30 p.m.

Game

I’m a big fan of game. I don’t eat it a lot, because I don’t have a regular source of it, but I very much value the idea of eating animals that have lived wild. I buy all my regular meat from the local butcher, and most of it is outdoor-reared or free-range, but the ultimate has to be eating meat from animals that have lived most or all of their lives in the wild, right up to the moment of death.

A couple of weeks ago a friend gave us a pheasant. We hung it in the shed (from what I’ve heard and read, I wouldn’t recommend hanging a pheasant for two weeks unless you want it really gamey, but for most of that time the temperature has been around or below zero!). And yesterday, after we did a bit of research on the Internet and using the River Cottage Meat Book (a fascinating read I’d recommend to all meat-eaters), I prepared the bird. Here are some photos (I picked the less gruesome ones!):

First, I removed the wings, legs and head, and pulled out the tail feathers. The crop was full, which was really interesting – we could easily tell that her final meal had been barley and beechmast! Then I made a slit in the skin on the breast and skinned it – it was really very easy (and I’ve never skinned anything before!). The skin just came off, feathers and all, as if I was stripping off clothing – it was weird (but fascinating) to pull the legs through and see them all naked and pink! Then I gutted it, which was also easy – just a matter of scooping out all the innards. I saved the heart, because I’m actually taking a sheep’s heart into school to show to my second years this week, so I thought they might like to see a pheasant heart too!

When it was all prepared, I cooked it using a friend’s delicious method: shallots, cider, a bay leaf and some thyme, and simmered it for about 40 minutes. I added some chunks of apple about 5 minutes before the end (I was surprised by how quickly the apple cooked). Just before serving it I threw in some cooked bacon and stirred in some sour cream. It was lovely with some veg and mashed potato and there was enough left, with plenty of sauce, to have with bread as a sort of pheasant soup for lunch today.

I’m all fired up now to try cooking more game. I’m pretty sure the butcher in Bridge of Allan has wild venison. Apart from that, I’m not sure how you go about sourcing game – any ideas?

Forza Motorsport 2

Publisher: Microsoft Game Studios
Developer: Microsoft Game Studios – Turn 10 Studios
Genre: Racing Simulation
ESRB: Everyone Age

Talking about racing games, especially racing simulation genre, enggak get away from big name Gran Turismo. This game seemed to open her eyes when racing game that required attention to detail. Starting from graphics, to the ability to play his game.

And the formula is tried repeated by several gaming titles and circulation. Primarily on next-gen consoles, like Xbox 360. A review on IGN.com website mentions that speed matters Burnout talking about the answer. Then if things look cool Project Gotham Racing are looking for. And if it’s a car, then buy the game Forza Motorsport. At least no driving simulation game that combines all three. (look cool, cars, and speed).

But now comes the answer. At least with the presence of Forza Motorsport 2. This game provides the line-up of super-car lot. More than 300 brands of cars. And of course graphic factors need ditanyin enggak again. Understandably this game running at speed 60 frames per second. Although in the end we played a finesse game that became a reference, it still only see the graphic, we are ecstatic made!

Unfortunately so pursue perfection, many details had to be sacrificed. A few little things like details enggak dashboard so visible. Compensation running at speed 60 frames per second, this game trying to produce images that are always maximal. So do not be surprised when the race, always during the day and the weather that we face is always bright. This is intentional, I’ll back ground sky and clouds can look very detailed.

After all, the lack was soon covered with other details enggak lost exclaimed. Damage is usually “dilewatin” just another developer, Turn 10 wanted to waste time for business details.

At least when looking racing game with a factor of “joy” that is more, this game could be the answer.
